Spiceworks Helpdesk on the iPhone?

A little bird has told Spiceworks-News that Spiceworks are working on a iPhone helpdesk app. At the moment the details are very limited but we are hoping to get more out of them soon.
We know it will give you the functionality to view and edit your helpdesk tickets on the move.
Making it even easier to use the Spiceworks helpdesk to give your users a better experience with the IT team.

Think about it, you walk around to a users desk they start wittering on about problems you didn’t come to fix so you pull out your phone and quickly update the helpdesk ticket with all the things you have done, keeping your reports, your notes and your team up to date.
Overtime hopefully Spiceworks will add in the inventory and maybe even reporting on the go.
Leave your comments about what you think of a iPhone app and lets see if we can’t give them even more reasons to build one.
- What would you like to see in the app?
- Should it be extended to include the whole inventory?
Of course as soon as we got more information we will give it to you!
So need this app!!!!

March 4th, 2011 at 8:06 amBetween me and my husband we’ve bougt more ceiling fans over the years than I can count, including hampton bay, hunter, ge, contemproray, etc. But, the last few years I’ve settled down to just hampton bay line of fans. Why? Because I was happy to discover how well-designed and sturdy the hampton bay fans are.
