Spiceworks 4.7 includes some minor new features to keep SpiceHeads happy until Spiceworks 5.0 is released later in the year.

• Check the Dell Warranty Status – Dell have teamed up with the developers to allow you to check their warranty status which allows you to make sure machines are covered for repairs quicker. Less documentation you need to worry about and more time you can spend fixing the other problems. More details available in the help document.
• Rackspace Email Hosting Integration – Using Rackspace email hosting? It’s now even easier to view and manage your services from within the IT Service Providers section of your install. See this help document for more details.
• Exchange 2007 support – You can now push exchange 2007 health information to Spiceworks using a simple script the team have created. More details on how to set this up are available in the help document.
• Performance monitor plugin – There is also a new plugin in town that allows you to view performance information for your servers and desktops. Monitor CPU, memory, disk, and network performance on any Windows machine, right from your Dashboard. Check it out here.
• Bug Fixes – There are also around 40 bug fixes implemented.
