The first beta release of Spiceworks was on the 24 July 2006 and was tested by a handful of keen IT Pro’s in the Austin, Texas area as well as a few user’s who had already managed to stumble across it.
The main things included in the beta were the agent-less scanning, basic system and network monitor and on the fly reports, all for FREE.
